When in Viimsi, it is worth visiting the Museum of Coastal Folk, Viimsi Open Air Museum and Estonian War Museum. Also located in Viimsi is a Nature Centre, where activities for nature enthusiasts of all ages can be found.

Museum of Coastal Folk
The Museum of Coastal Folk is located in Pringi Coastal Village, in Viimsi. The various exhibitions, educational and experience programs and events at the Museum of Coastal Folk focus on the multifaceted history and culture of Estonia’s coastal folk.
A cool sea-themed play room and the seal-boy Vigri, friend to children, help to give small visitors that itch for the sea that is essential for residents of a maritime country. Viimsi Open Air Museum
The current Viimsi Open Air Museum is actually a more than 150 year-old complex of coastal farms located on the picturesque beach of Pringi Village, in Viimsi. Throughout the year, it is possible here to take part in the daily activities of villagers, farm work and trips to sea, moments of rest and village festivities, market days and holiday traditions. Swings and farm animals offer children fun-filled excitement. The Open Air Museum is located 3.2 km from Viimsi SPA.
Viimsi Manor and Park
The manor complex and park received its current appearance in 1865, after a fire. In 1923, the manor was presented to General Laidoner. The building is currently home to the Estonian War Museum – General Laidoner Museum. Located in Viimsi, Laidoner Park or Viimsi Manor Park, as it is also known, is full of pleasant spots, where you can lay down your blanket and unload your picnic basket, lay back and enjoy the singing of birds and good company. If you are lucky, you might even spot some rabbits here.

Viimsi Nature Centre
A renovated manor-era livestock barn stands in the yard of the Viimsi Nature Centre, where the permanent exhibition “There is Power in the Forest” waits for visitors of all ages to find their forest power by touching, examining, studying and inventing. In addition to the exhibition, we offer nature programs and thematic learning days for children as well as adults. We also introduce opportunities for forest holidays across Estonia. Viimsi Nature Centre is located 1.7 km from Viimsi SPA.
Viimsi Farmers’ Market
Viimsi Farmers’ Market is open from 10.00-14.00 on Saturdays throughout the year. The Farmers’ Market is quite popular among the people of Viimsi. Local residents have a great deal of respect for the fresh and clean foodstuffs sold there. Village news, shared over fresh mince pies and morning coffee, is also always available at the Farmers’ Market.
